Dettifoss is a waterfall in Vatnajökull National Park in Northeast Iceland. It is reputed to be the most powerful waterfall in Europe. The waterfall is regularly visited on Diamond Circle tours and should not be missed by anyone visiting the region. The sediment-rich runoff colors the water a greyish white.
